London is replacing roadways with pedestrian areas
London has always been one of the most crowded cities in the world, but the situation has improved in the last few years. In 2010 the city administration opened the first bicycle highways to decrease traffic on the routes most affected by traffic jams. In 2019 the government has also started to implement a plan that aims to rid half of the streets of cars and limit public transportation to 15 miles per hour.
