Oslo is slowly trying to replace cars with eco-friendly vehicles
The Oslo city administration is trying to discourage drivers from using their cars in the city by replacing most parking spots with bicycle lanes and pedestrian areas. 700 parking spots have been removed so far in the downtown area and many will follow.
But since cars are still necessary from time to time, authorities have added electric vehicle charging stations to encourage drivers to switch to eco-friendly cars.
