Instead of turning to a life of crime, as many would do
in that position, the self-proclaimed “philosopher-mathematician,” had another
idea: The lottery. We all know that it’s four times more likely for someone to
be struck by lightning than to win the lottery, so who would ever bank on
winning the lottery?
