at around 11 PM, an old Virginia State Lottery ball machine spit out the 6
winning numbers: 8, 11, 13, 15, 19, 20. Over the following days, the lottery
officials would come to learn that the person who won the $27,036,142 jackpot
also won 6 second prizes, and over 250 smaller prizes that were collectively
worth over $900k.
