Bargello National Museum
If you’re not up for the crowds or lines of the Uffizi Gallery, consider going to the Bargello National Museum. Although it’s one of Florence’s best museums, it’s often overlooked. The building itself used to be a prison and dates to 1225. Inside, the museum houses a robust art collection including sculptures by Renaissance masters Michelangelo and Donatello.
