4 Most Intriguing Conspiracy Theories

The word conspiracy is one that makes people edge away. No one wants to be caught in the web of issues with conflicting stories and evidence that have lasted a lifetime. In many cases, those theories are left except when it is required.

Conspiracy theorists are people who go further in their search for the real reason for some of tragedy in the world. They are often of the opinion that there is more; they believe that there is always a hidden agenda behind every major crisis in the world. And anyone who seem to be against them is taken to be part of the conspiracy.

However, there are a few intriguing conspiracy theories that are worth sharing.

• The 9/11 Conspiracies

Several pieces of evidence gathered after the 9/11 attack that killed many, suggests that the attack was indeed the result of a conspiracy. The question that lingers around till today is who those conspirators are. While it is no longer news that Osama Bin Laden and his crew were part of the conspiracy, many believe top government officers have hands in the attack.

While many of the claims were debunked by popular magazines, conspiracy theorists believe that the attack was carefully planned and executed with top government officers having a foreknowledge. While these officers aided the attack or simply allow it to happen remain a mystery.

• Princess Diana’s Murder

Princess Diana was a loving and high-profile personality, but how do you explain that someone of such royal blood could be killed by a drunk chauffeur? That fateful day on the 31st of August, 1997, the world lost a royalty in Princess Diana as well as Dodi Al-Fayed.

Conspiracy theorists believe that the death was indeed murder with the backing of a billionaire; Mohamed Al-Fayed, the father of Dodi Al-Fayed. And as you must have guessed, Al-Fayed claimed that the accident was an assignation by British intelligence agencies, but it wasn’t long before the claim was rendered baseless.

Royalty dies of eating of too much rich food, political intrigue, or old age – just not being killed by a drunk driver.

• The Moon Landing Hoax

American astronauts and NASA made a film in 1978 that depicts fake Mars landing. That mediocre film was an interesting one but one that sparked several conspiracies. The result of that hoax is the questions that linger in later years when astronauts set foot on the moon. There were several claims that maybe, the moon landing was indeed another lie, however, the rocks that were brought from the moon by these astronauts, studied and confirmed to be not from anyone on earth debunked any false claim.

However, Conspiracy theorists won’t have it and some even went further to physical confrontation; conspiracy theorist Bart Sibrel confronted Buzz Aldrin and called him a “coward and a liar” for faking the moon landings, the result is that Aldrin punched Sibrel in the jaw.

• Paul McCartney’s Death

The Beatles was a popular band in the ’60s. However, it seems they lost a core member in 1966; Paul McCartney was the band guitarist and claims were that he died in 1966. The band, however, won’t have it and kept his death a secret.

The band made the death of McCartney a secret by getting someone with the exact look and voice to step in for him in the band. It wasn’t long before questions were asked though, especially because the band seems to leave clues that something was indeed wrong. A popular incident was when they had to take the cover picture of their Abbey Road album and only McCartney was not only out of step with the other three, but he was also barefooted.
