Spanish-speaking countries call the manchineel the “little apple of death,” due to its apple-looking fruit. Maybe this was what actually poisoned Snow White and they assumed it was an apple. The tree can grow up to 15 meters (49 ft) tall and has shiny, green leaves, and yellow flowers. But its fruit is not the only poisonous part of the manchineel.
