When legal gambling proved to be ineffective, Richard Marcus
decided to become a baccarat and blackjack dealer in Las Vegas. While on the
job, Marcus learned the ropes and became familiar with how casinos operate.
Soon after he came up with a way to steal money from casinos and throughout his
career, he managed to make millions. His technique consisted of placing a
simple bets and playing with the mind of the dealer. Although his scam was not
very complex, it worked and Marcus ended up behind bars. He is now a successful
author, having written two books and a blog.
