Why is IMAX so special?
Most people believe IMAX halls are always 3D. Even if IMAX shows 3D movies, the thing that sets it apart is the very large, curved screen. Because the screen is wider than your field of vision, you have to turn your head, making the experience seem more real. IMAX has other variants also, such as the dome-shaped screen (OMNIMAX) and the laser version.
