3. Don’t neglect the windows
Sometimes, when robbers fail to open the front door or if the location is too visible, they choose to enter through a back window. In order to make sure no one will get in while you are away, install widow grills for the first and second floor. These grills should have a lock so that you can open them and get away in case of an emergency.
