2. Keep valuables out of sight
When a strange person comes into your home, be it a plumber or a handyman, they can see where you keep your valuables if they are in plain sight. Later on, they will inform their accomplices about the value and location of your things so they can plan a robbery. Of course, not all strangers have bad intentions. Just to be on the safe side, make sure you don’t leave your earrings or expensive watch on the table.
