Montgomery completed his acting studies in 2015 at WAAPA at Edith Cowan University. The actor has always admired Heath Ledger, who also grew up in Perth, and Hugh Jackman, who graduated from WAAPA in Perth. These actors inspired him to believe in himself and to trust that he can also make it to Hollywood. At only 21, he already knew he would be filming for three movies, including Power Rangers.
