Rule #2:When you buy something cool for your friends, buy something for yourself as well
People like other people who share their interests and who seem familiar. Having similar taste in things brings people closer together. Buying a nice gift for someone and mentioning the fact that you liked it so much that you bought one for yourself as well, builds trust. This gesture will be much more appreciated than a neutral ‘Hope you like it’.
