Chrissy and John met in 2007 while filming the music video for John’s song ‘Stereo’ and according to them; it was not love at first sight. John Legend talks about meeting Chrissy in an interview with L.A. Confidential and admits that he is not the type of guy who falls in love right away. He also admits that he the cautious type and needs to get to know someone before falling head over heels. Only after having dated Chrissy for a couple of years, has John realized that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her.
We could have told them from day one that they are perfect for each other, but at least they figured it out eventually. But how did they get from being on set together to being in a relationship? As it turns out, after being on set the whole day, the two spend the night together in John’s hotel room. After that, John went on tour and they stayed in touch via phone and slowly but surely they got close, and the rest is, you know – legend.
