Bags are never stolen
Japan is extremely safe and tourists are always shocked to see that nobody is afraid of petty theft. Even school children leave their backpacks unattended in the waiting room of the railway station because it is a traditional way of standing in line.
Isn’t it cool that no one ever worries about having their luggage stolen in Japan?
