‘The Aviator’ (2004)
The Aviator focuses on the life of Howard Hughes in his early days, his wild investments, his aviator career, and his congressional trials. Besides handling a Houston accent very well, Leonardo DiCaprio does a great job at capturing the character’s social anxiety, intense work ethic, germ phobias, and rapid speech. Although it’s not the actor’s best work, this performance nominated him for his first Best Actor Oscar.
