Each room should be treated as a blank slate
There are several preexisting features in each home that can be highlighted. Unique architectural details such as hardwood floors, mosaic tiles, wooden beams, crown moldings are all examples of beautiful details that should be the center of attention. These details don’t need to be made to look expensive, they really are expensive, and so it is important to make them as prominent as we can. By keeping our home clutter-free and clean, we can make these architectural details the focal points. Splurging paint on expensive features is a very bad idea and should be avoided at all costs.
