Origin of his name
Tiger Wood’s real name is Eldrick Tont Woods because Eldrick has his father’s first initial placed at the beginning and his mother’s first initial at the end. Apparently, Tont is a Thai name, chosen by his mother Kultida who is of Thai origins. His father started calling him Tiger really early, after his fellow soldier and friend Col. Phong.
