One of the biggest mistakes is not removing makeup before going to bed. Your skin needs to breathe overnight, and makeup doesn’t allow that. The makeup blocks the pores that lead to blackheads and blemishes.


If you don’t have a makeup remover, you can use olive oil to remove it by massaging it on your face. This will help in eliminating the dirt from your face as well.


To have brighter and healthy skin, you need to exfoliate your skin. The dry and dead skin on your face makes you look dull and unhealthy. When you exfoliate once or twice a week, it removes the layers of dead skin. This brings out the healthy looking and beautiful skin.

For exfoliation, you can make a paste of walnut powder and yogurt. The antioxidants in walnut powder will help in eliminating the dirt from your face and promotes radiant skin.


Another common mistake made by many women and girls is not applying sunscreen when going out. The UV rays from the sun are not good for your skin as it increases the risk of skin cancer. It can even lead to wrinkles, age spots, and several other problems. This is why it is better to apply sunscreen with SPF 15. It is capable of blocking both UVA and UVB.

You have to make sure the sunscreen is “noncomedogenic” or “nonacnegenic”. This is crucial as it will not clog the pores. An important thing to keep in is that you should not skip sunscreen on any day whether it is sunny or cloudy. In case you are going to the beach or any that has reflective surfaces, you should use a sunscreen with at least SPF 30.

Therefore, there are other things as well that you can to your routine. For keeping your skin hydrated, drink plenty of water. To prevent acne, wash your face at least three times. In order to get overall glowing skin, you need to watch you eat.
