Why is the pupil black?
The black of your eyes is so black because in reality – there’s nothing there. You’re just staring inside of your eyeball. The pupil is so black because the light entering is absorbed inside the eye by the surrounding tissue. Moreover, the pupil can change sizes, getting wider in the dark and narrower in the light. I bet you will never look in the mirror and see yourself the same ever again.
